Strike the Bear by Roger Nord offers a very new map treatment, with octagons (Oxes) and small diamonds which abstractly aids the differences between flexible, mechanized forces and lumbering foot organizations.
The victory objectives change as the game proceeds, so players have to deal with uncertainty that represents dictates from high command.
Strike the Bear comes with 108 mounted and die-cut 9/16" counters, and a 17" x 22" full color map with rules and charts (Ziplock).
