Ozostium Aranthus has claimed rulership of Necromunda. However, Lady Haera Helmawr has allied with her brother Tamino to recover a weapon capable of ending even an undying Aranthian – a Sthenian-pattern Spyrer Suit. Now is the final stand for Lady Haera, her Spyrers, and those gangs loyal to the Helmawr. It is up to these holdout forces to strike deep into Hive Primus and reclaim the spire in the name of Lord Gerontius. Yet it is not only Ozostium’s loyal Enforcers and gangs they must contend with – at the very peak of the hive, deep within the Imperial Spire, the Aranthian himself waits for one final showdown…

Palanite Justicars hunt down renegade nobles, rogue heirs, and aberrations in noble bloodlines. Upon arriving in a region, they will set up tribunals in the centre of the settlement, closing all nearby roads. Then, from their seat at the head of the tribunal, the Magistrate will pass judgement on local criminals, invariably condemning them to death. Once judgement is passed, the Executioner carries out the sentence immediately in front of the assembled local population, whose attendance is compulsory. If any in the crowd are foolish enough to object, the Bailiffs step forward to restrain them with the Tools of Judgement so they too can face justice.

Ironhead Squat Charter Masters and Drill Masters are seasoned warriors who have survived and thrived, climbing the ranks until they stand at the top. Unsurprisingly, only the most veteran Squats rise to this level. Often hundreds of years old, these grizzled explorers of the wasteland are armed with the finest weapons their clan can provide. More important than their gear is their grim determination to plunder the mineral riches of Necromunda.

Ozostium Aranthus hails from a time before the Imperium itself, when Necromunda was the crown jewel in the verdant Araneus star system. Though he seems perfect in every way, gaps in his armour and cracks in his control reveal glimpses at the ugly truth – whatever lies beneath that expertly crafted plating can barely be called alive. Alongside Ozostium drones an eternally loyal Caryatid-servitor.

Palanite Enforcers are equipped with some of the best weapons available in the underhive, ensuring they have an edge on the lawless thugs they hunt down. From web guns and concussion carbines to subdue without lethal force, to flamers and sniper rifles when force is required, their precinct arsenals are packed with special weapons and equipment.

Ashwing Helamites are smaller and less domesticated than Dustbacks. Ash Waste Nomads use them as guard creatures, controlling these flying macro-insects using large lures. Once their lure has been placed on the ground, Ashwings will treat the area as their territory and attack any who come near.

The Palanite Enforcers are the mailed hand wrapped around Necromunda's throat, struggling to keep the hive down even as it rages against their grip. They are led by brave, promising veterans of the force who have shown they have what it takes to be ruthless and thorough in their judgment. Often, they are given special equipment and a certain amount of license to act as they wish.

Palanite Enforcers are brutal agents of the rulers of Necromunda, imposing the will of law upon unruly masses. They have access to some of the best armour and weapons in the underhive, and are rightly feared by even relatively law-abiding gangs.

A bastion of education and enlightenment, Hive Secundus was where Necromunda’s greatest minds were encouraged to prosper... until the Inquisition discovered the insidious truth lurking at the heart of Necromunda’s second city.  The cancer was so deep-seated that Hive Secundus was razed to the ground, and the ruins declared quarantine extremis for more than a century.

Hive Secundus was devastated long ago. While it's hardly habitable now, there are always those willing to venture into it for plunder and profit, heedless of the danger posed by crumbling walls, live wires, ruptured pipes, and the like.

Hive Secundus is a crumbling wasteland, infested with twisted Malstrain Genestealer broods. There are very few reasons to go there, but data crystal stacks are a compelling trophy for those with the will to secure them. Ancient structures remain each housing a number of these stacks in armoured alcoves, which allowed many of them to survive the destruction. They may look like junk, but they're a veritable gold mine for the savvy.

Few things are simple on Necromunda. Gangers thought lost in battle sometimes resurface later, seemingly back from the dead. Mysterious figures rise to plague an area, taunting the local gangs and working towards their own agenda. Settlements grow, falter, or change as the tides of fate shift. One thing is certain in the underhive – there’s never a dull moment.
